DESCRIPTION
This donation is for the benefit of Binhi ng Pag-Ibig, Inc. (BNPI), a non-stock, non-profit organization that provides a half-way house in Paco, Manila for children stricken with cancer and undergoing medical treatment at the Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). The half-way house is called Silungan ng Pag-Asa.
The phrase “binhi ng pag-ibig” translates to “seed of love,” whereas “silungan ng pag-asa” translates to “shelter of hope.” The non-profit was founded in 2016 by Pastor Junibel M. Antinero, founding treasurer and secretary, Constancio B. Larosa, Carmencita L. Aragon, and Edna R. Rosario, first trustees, and Atty. Lyman A. Manzanares, founding chair-trustee.
