The Third Manifest — Proof Against Fraud

Insurance fraud doesn’t begin with intent. It begins with missing proof.

A mismatched part, an unverified repair, a claim filed faster than a record can catch up.
In each case, the system struggles to prove what’s real—and what was merely declared.

When that gap exists, both insurer and member lose. And in the cooperative space, loss spreads quietly—one claim, one misunderstanding, one repair at a time.

The Fortuner Lesson

BuyCoop’s work in the automotive supply chain began not with a product, but with a question: Why can’t authenticity be verified before a dispute occurs?

A single case—a Toyota Fortuner under insurance repair—exposed the weakness shared by most systems. Receipts and photos weren’t enough.

The missing piece was a verifiable chain of data that connected the part, the vehicle, the supplier, and the insurer.

So we built one.

The Cooperative Anti-Fraud System

The Automotive EPC Verification Certificate is the first product of that effort. It verifies a vehicle or component’s origin and specifications through the IXIOX EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue) Engine, and records the result on the IXIOX EPC Ledger—a permanent cooperative proof register.

Each certificate provides a unique reference for insurers, suppliers, and owners. It closes the space where manipulation used to happen. The same mechanism that powers this verification will later serve digital health policies, cooperative memberships, and other proof-based services.

Verification isn’t an add-on to insurance. It’s the part insurance has been waiting for.

A System of Proof

The Co-operative Exchange delivers what paperwork alone never could: a digital issuance system that makes every certificate traceable, every claim verifiable, and every transaction transparent to those who share accountability.

For 1CISP, CHMF, OCTS, One CB, and future cooperative partners, this becomes the basis of a fairer, faster, and more trusted insurance cycle—one where integrity is coded into the process itself.

The Next Step

The first release focuses on Toyota vehicles—not because of exclusivity, but clarity.
It proves the model, the workflow, and the cooperative intent.

Trust isn’t declared. It’s verified.
